Team Zero - Brand Identity

Team Zero is a business community built to support entrepreneurs and small business owners through collaboration and shared experience. They approached me to create a full rebrand that would feel approachable and vibrant, while also communicating professionalism and trust.

My role was to design a new visual identity, digital presence, and supporting content system that would help Team Zero connect with a growing audience of ambitious founders and solo entrepreneurs.

Project Overview

The rebrand for Team Zero needed to deliver more than a new logo. It had to provide a complete system that could scale across digital and offline channels while staying consistent and recognisable. The project covered core identity design, a new website, email marketing, and a suite of social media templates. A strong brand voice and guidelines were also developed to support future growth.

The objective was to give Team Zero a flexible identity that reflected its values of openness and collaboration while being professional enough to build trust with business leaders. The outputs created a toolkit that the team could use independently, reducing reliance on ongoing design support and making the brand sustainable in the long term.

Logo & Identity Design

The Team Zero logo was designed for versatility, adapting across web, social, and print while clearly reflecting the company’s values. Its form strikes a balance between approachability and trust, aligning with the brand’s ethos of collaboration and support.

The primary colour palette — led by Openness Blue and Welcoming Yellow — reinforces positivity and accessibility, while a flexible secondary palette supports hierarchy and variety across platforms.

Brand Guidelines + Digital Kit

To ensure consistency across every touchpoint, I delivered a comprehensive set of guidelines covering:

  • Logo usage

  • Colour palette

  • Typography hierarchy

  • Illustration style

  • Tone of voice

  • Social media treatments

These guidelines allow Team Zero to scale confidently, maintaining cohesion as they grow.

Website Design

The website was built with simplicity and clarity at its core. Navigation and content were streamlined to reflect the needs of busy entrepreneurs, ensuring information was quick to access and easy to act on. Flexibility was key: layouts were prepared for future feature releases, supporting Team Zero’s long-term growth.

Social Media Identity

To help the brand scale across digital channels, I designed a modular social media system. Templates were built for both organic content and paid campaigns, ensuring Team Zero could maintain consistency while adapting messages quickly.

The style was bold, clean, and instantly recognisable, combining strong typography with illustration and colour accents.

Brand in Use

The Team Zero identity was designed to be flexible, adapting seamlessly across both digital and physical applications. From social media feeds and email campaigns to business cards, presentation decks, and event collateral, the system maintains clarity and energy in every format.

The logo’s versatility means it works at both small digital scales (such as profile icons) and in larger applications like banners or signage. The bold colour palette and clean illustration style create a distinctive visual presence that reinforces Team Zero’s values of collaboration and openness.

By building modular templates for social media and digital campaigns, I ensured the team could generate future content quickly while staying consistent with the core identity. This scalability is crucial for a growing start-up, giving Team Zero the tools to expand without losing brand recognition.

Outcome

The rebrand gave Team Zero a flexible identity system that feels open, vibrant, and trustworthy. The new website and digital toolkit allow them to connect with their community, communicate their mission, and scale their operations with confidence.
